Get to know Sanjeewa Prabath
I'm Sanjeewa Prabath, though I prefer to be called Sanjeewa, and I'm based in Colombo. My hometown is Tangalle, deep in the south of Sri Lanka, famed for its miles of unspoilt golden beaches. Having worked and lived in Korea for over eight years, I returned home in 2012 to work as a chauffeur-guide and have travelled extensively around the Island. That means I'm very familiar with the holiday destinations and places of interest across the Island. I'm fluent in English and, thanks to my years in Korea, conversant in Korean. I'm an ardent wildlife enthusiast and particularly enjoy excursions to Yala National Park, renowned for its rich wildlife and large leopard population. I'd like to think my humble yet efficient approach, along with my in-depth knowledge of the Island, makes me the ideal local insider to make your Sri Lankan holiday memorable.

We had a driver called Sanjeewa who was with us for the entire trip. He followed Leo's itinerary closely, always getting us to destinations on time and ensuring that we had the best experiences. He was super kind and would often stop at the side of the road so we could meet local craftspeople or to get us a coffee or a refreshing drink of king coconut water!
Prabath also met and exceeded our expectations. He was unfailingly polite, clean, interested and informative. We quickly formed an excellent rapport with him and we were particularly interested in his observations on Sri Lankan society, education and Buddhist religious practices.
