I'm Madonis, and I live in Negombo on the west coast, a fishing town just north of the airport where the day starts with the catch coming in on the beach and the old Dutch canal still runs through the middle of town. I've spent 23 years working in tourism. Since 2005 I have been a tourist driver and guide at Jetwing Blue, and along the way I have also worked with several travel agencies. The west coast is my home ground and the stretch I know best, from the lagoon and fishing villages around Negombo up through Chilaw and Kalpitiya, so I can take you to the parts of it most visitors pass straight through. Being minutes from the airport also means I can meet you the moment you land. I speak English, Tamil, Sinhala and Hindi, and a little Arabic.
